G Data Software report reveals shady practices
G Data Software Report on internet security reveals shady practices among internet scammers. There is plenty of shocking information in the document: it turns out that credit card information can be bought for as little as 3 USD. For $50 one can get a database of 1 million e-mail addresses.
Making money on internet gray/black market is a fast growing phenomena. Nowadays this market closely resembles any legitimate market. There are producers, merchants, service providers, scammers and clients. They usually use forums and discussion groups to get in touch with each other. Fierce competition leads to destroying one site by the founders of another - the attacks through a bot-net network are most common weapon. Plenty of internet thieves use internet communicators and IRC servers. Stolen money is transferred through services such as Paysafecard, E-gold or Webmoney.
The most popular products or services of black market are: infections, bulletproof hosting services, spam, DDoS attacks, carding or skimming. The cyber criminals convert virtual money to real money in various ways, one of them being buying products which are shipped to Russia. The package gets picked up in a post office and then gets resend to the final destination. Similarly, automated shipping machines are used in Germany.
The conclusion every reader of this blog should come up to is that internet is not crime-free. Thieves are looking for sensitive information. Thus, like in a real world, your personal data is very valuable. Beware of revealing too much of your identity not to become a victim of an identity theft. Sharing sensitive information on social platforms is not a good idea. Do you realize, that date of your birth can be used by scammers to e.g. fill in missing credit card information? Please think twice before posting publicly other details about your identity, including pictures of yourself or your house.

Your point is definitely valid. But as the internet grows bigger, the communication and interactions have becoming more and more personal. We should be careful but we shouldn’t be too scared. Just follow what all the famous internet marketing gurus and bloggers (Show Money, John Chow, Frank Kern, etc) are doing.
Do you mean earn six figures Andi? No problem! Lol.
Yeah some people think I’m paranoid about giving out my personal data online, but I’m really not. And this is why.
